Group Project (K-1)

This FUN and EASY lesson gets everyone excited about helping the planet!  Small groups of excited kids ready to save the Earth form Green Teams, discuss problems and solutions, and make a team poster.

Excellent information is provided on how to make healthy choices.  This is an excellent source of background information when studying the human body and how daily decisions we make can change our health for better or worse.

Honeybees

“What's the Buzz about Bees?” Honeybees (and other bees) are in danger in our world.

Bees are Superheroes in Mother Earth's world. Plants need these amazing animal helpers to pollinate their flowers in order to produce their precious seeds (next generation of plants). Bees (and other pollinators) help to create our healthy rainbow of fruits and vegetables. (One out of three bites of food is insect pollinated—maybe more!) Explore ways to help these amazing animals and their hive society.
